{"id":315,"date":"2014-06-15T23:14:30","date_gmt":"2014-06-16T03:14:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.orlandorocketry.com\/?p=315"},"modified":"2025-11-21T15:07:00","modified_gmt":"2025-11-21T20:07:00","slug":"june-2014-nefar-launch-video","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/orlandorocketry.com\/?p=315","title":{"rendered":"June, 2014, NEFAR Launch Video"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Thunderstorms threatened, but stayed to the east.\u00a0 So, only a few sprinkles of rain interrupted the <a href=\"http:\/\/community.rocketreviews.com\/index.php?\/topic\/2761-aerial-video-of-the-june-2014-nefar-launch\/\">June, 2014, NEFAR rocket launch<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The threat of storms kept some fliers at home, so there weren&#8217;t as many large rockets launch as usual. But, we had a number of Civil Air Patrol cadets there flying smaller rockets. At times the wind was gusty, but sometimes it was so still that the exhaust from a rocket&#8217;s launch would just hang there for a while.<\/p>\n<p>I flew my DJI Phantom 2 Vision quadcopter about a half-dozen times to record the low- and high-power launches from above.
