{"id":158,"date":"2012-11-07T15:55:08","date_gmt":"2012-11-07T20:55:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.orlandorocketry.com\/?p=158"},"modified":"2025-11-21T15:11:39","modified_gmt":"2025-11-21T20:11:39","slug":"photos-from-rocks-november-launch","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/orlandorocketry.com\/?p=158","title":{"rendered":"Photos from ROCK&#8217;s November Launch"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For the first time in a while, it was not too hot, too windy, or too cloudy on the first Saturday of November as ROCK held its monthly model rocket launch.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Chris's V-2\" href=\"http:\/\/www.rocketreviews.com\/201211031112-003jpg.html\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"Chris's Estes V-2\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rocketreviews.com\/image-chris-michielssens-v-2-600-600-114312151807301.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"461\" \/><\/a>Chris Michielssen flew his well-crafted Estes V-2.\u00a0 Unfortunately, the scale model ended up in the top of a tree, far out of reach for recovery.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.rocketreviews.com\/201211031151-004jpg.html\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"FlisKits tress\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rocketreviews.com\/image-fliskits-tres-600-600-113712195506376.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"399\" height=\"600\" \/><\/a>A FlisKits Tres turned in a great flight on a cluster of three canted motors.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.rocketreviews.com\/201211031219-001jpg.html\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"Estes Nighthawk\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rocketreviews.com\/image-201211031219-001jpg-600-600-114812154107359.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"399\" height=\"600\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Tom&#8217;s vintage Nighthawk flew a couple of times. During the first flight, the booster tangled with the glider.
